A R Rahman, take a bow!

"All my life I had two choices - between love and hate and I chose love"

He did it. My heart swelled in admiration and love when he said "ella pugazhum iraivanukkey". A true legend. Hats off to you Sir!

  1. Hi Sri, thanks for commenting on my blog.

And to this post: yayyy! I too share the same happiness! I was watching the complete Oscar night yesterday, and my hands were shaking before I heard the winner for the music categories :-) It was so nice to see him on stage :-)

  5. Vaiji, Youtube has many vidoes of the oscar event, his speech, his welcome home and so many other related vidoes. so full of oscar and you can spend a few good hours there looking up all the A.R.Rahman oscar videos. That is what I have been doing for the past couple of days. Have Fun !

Btw, Don't you all think the mobbing and the crowd for A.R.Rahman when he went back to Chennai was a bit too much. The poor guy must have been jet lagged and tired and he was mobbed. They could have held a gala event later and let him arrive at home in peace I felt.

  6. Yea. I was bit surprised too. ARR's landed in Chennai late at night, it was almost early hours of the day. The surprising thing was there were so many women & children waiting patiently to catch a glimpse of ARR. All of them drowsy, exhausted...I wonder whether they saw ARR at all amid all this madness.

Sometimes our people get a bit too carried away by the euphoria.
